KICKOFF for fall Wednesday Nights @ 6 is August 14th! Whether you’ve been here awhile and have been waiting for this time to start again, or this will be your first fall here at SGC, we want to invite you to our Wednesday night programming! We’ll start at 6:00 with a meal (kids, students, and adults all together), and then at 6:30 break out into kids church, student ministry, and adult bible study. We’ll be calling our study “Looking for the Lost” and will dive into sharing the gospel with others. We can’t wait to welcome you, and hope you invite a friend! We’ve been a saving a seat just for you!

We love partnering with Access Life and hosting events for this amazing ministry! Access Life strives to “bridge the gap” through Christ’s grace and guidance by connecting individuals and families living with disabilities to Jesus and Christ-honoring churches. September 21st from 2-4 P.M.

We LOVE Ballinger Farms and love getting to attend as a church family! This year, it will be held on October 6th from 1-3 P.M. and we are so excited to offer this event for our families with all the fun farm activities: pumpkin picking, tractor hay ride, fall themed activities and games, and of course amazing church family fellowship. Hot dogs will be provided by us, ere’s what you need to know: if your last name begins with A-O we’re asking that you bring cookies; if your last name begins P-Z we ask that you bring chips to share! We ask everyone to bring their own drink, and this event is $5 per person. Every family is required to sign up through the link below-- you can register your whole family in just minutes and we can’t wait to see you there!

October 16th there will be no programming! Take a break, let the Lord pour into you, enjjoy this time of rest, and get ready to come back next week!

Our Annual Fallapalooza event will be October 20th at Shady Grove Church from 3-5 P.M. There will be candy. There will be games. There will be bounce houses. There will be so. Much. Fun! We are so excited to offer this free event for our church and community to come together!

We believe in the power of prayer, and want to unite as a church family to pray over our church and community. We will meet eight times in September and October from noon to 1:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary. Come join us beginning September 10th-October 29th from noon-1:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary! The first half hour will be for individual quiet prayer, and the last half hour will be corporate prayers of agreement. Besides praying for personal requests, prayer outlines will also be available. Prayer changes things-- Come and see!

Hebrews 4:16 says, Let us approach God’s throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
