Ignite students is our ministry for Middle school and High School Students!
We LOVE students and want to help them find their identity in Christ during some very challenging years. Our goal at Ignite Student Ministry seeks to excite, inspire, capture, and IGNITE young people for Jesus Christ. |

If you're ready to jump in and experience Student Ministry at Shady Grove Church, here's what you can expect:

On Sunday mornings at 10, we gather in the youth suite for large group fellowship and discussion. We'd love to have you join us and see how truly welcoming our student ministry is- from our small group leaders, the students involved in our ministry, to our student pastor, Eddie Thomas.
On Wednesday Nights, join us at 5 P.M. as we connect with other students and deepen our relationship with God. |

First, the unknown can be scary. Trust us, we know! It's our hope that we can answer some of your questions and serve your family by mentoring, leading, and helping your student take important next steps toward Jesus.

Sunday morning students in 6th-12th grade are encouraged to attend worship with their families and join us for small groups in the youth suite at 10 A.M. Our intention and goal for small groups is to provide a more personalized approach to deepen their faith, build friendships and learn more about what it means to follow Christ!
Midweek, students in 6th-12th grade will gather on Wednesday Nights at 5:30 pm. to connect with other students through team-building activities, a message, and what it means to walk with Jesus.

Is your student interested in baptism?If your student has decided to follow Christ, we are excited and honored to encourage them in taking the next step of Baptism! We believe that baptism is an outward public testimony of an inward transformation. If you would like to learn more about baptism, we would LOVE to help!

Ignite is always looking for volunteers who are passionate about working with students!
Ignite leaders are made up of volunteers who share the same vision and interest of Shady Grove Church. Each week, our volunteers are responsible for leading discussions in small group settings. These small group leaders are intentional with building strong relationships with our students. Most importantly, our leaders are focused on strengthening our student's relationships with Jesus Christ. All leaders have undergone safe sanctuary training. If you would like to learn more about volunteering with Ignite Student Ministries, we would love to connect with you!
