Dear Church Family,
Please read below for this week's announcements from Shady Grove:
-Breakfast with Santa: Due to the pandemic, our Breakfast with Santa will look a bit different this year, but we are still looking forward to a fun event! Join us this Saturday, December 19th* from 9:30-11am for a free photo with Santa. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be waiting on the front porch of the church to take a picture with your kids! Each family will get time with Santa for pictures, a pre-packaged breakfast, and a bag of crafts to take home. This event is designed to keep all involved safe and healthy, so we ask all who attend to wear their masks. We hope to see you there! For more information, contact Children's Director Ashley Wren at email@example.com.
*In case of cancellation due to COVID-19, please check the King's Kidz-Shady Grove United Methodist Church Children's Ministry Facebook page before the event for updates.
-As this year draws to a close, we have had several members ask us about the best places to designate their end of the year contributions. If you are interested in giving an end of the year donation to the church, there are three specific areas we would like to point you towards: the Playground fund for a new playground, the Road Sign fund for a new and updated church road sign, and the Building Maintenance fund for needed projects such as sealing the parking lot. We have such a generous and faithful church, and as a staff we would like to thank you for your thoughtfulness!
-Several of you have asked for Jeff Moncier's address so that you can send him a card. His address is:
c/o Jeffrey Moncier
1 Medical Pkwy Blvd
Bristol, TN 37620
-Wednesday night programming for kids, youth, adult Bible study, and choir will resume on January 20th. See you then!
-The church office will be closed December 23-29 and December 31. Please plan your office visits accordingly.
-Shady Grove will be hosting 2 Christmas Eve services at 5:00pm and 7:00pm. These services will also be available to watch live on Facebook. If you would indicate to Helen on Sunday morning which service you are planning on attending, we would greatly appreciate it as it would help us to ensure we have enough space for everyone.
-Please keep the following people in your prayers: Jeff Moncier, Barbara and Bill Mosely, Terry Witt, Rachael Hubler, Frankie Simms, Tim Barker, Kevin Fox, Maxine Williams, Gay Greene, Dave Holt, Mark Gapetz, Woodlawn Church, Kyndall DeMaria, Susan Cheetham, Suzanne Guidry, Claire Cortozza, Malcolm Cotton, Amy Graves, Christy Bowlin, Hilda Skeens, Vicki Martinez, De Perrin, Lisa Swafford, Tabitha Coffeey, Virginia Miller, and Brenda Bradley.
We love you, church family!
