Brooke Thomas is the worship leader for the modern (contemporary) service at 11:00 on Sunday mornings. Her passion has always been music since as long as she can remember. While she didn't see herself in this position, she is so glad God directed her where she is today. Growing up on the same road as the church, she would pass by here quite often and felt Him whisper to her each time she passed that she was destined to be here and to have some impact in regards to music. It wasn't until her great-grandmother, Kathleen Hill, (who attended here) passed away and one of her requests was for Brooke to sing at her funeral that she finally gave into God's calling. Brooke had always had a very close relationship with her, but didn't realize that Kathleen would give her that push into ministry.
When her time is not occupied with band practices and Sunday morning worship, she is a very busy mom of two (Landon 12 and Keira 8) running to soccer games (yes, she's a soccer mom) and to dance practices (no, she's not one of those dance moms on t.v.). She's been married to her husband Eddie Thomas, director of student ministries, since 2003. Between the two of them, they are very busy and involved with the church and wouldn't have it any other way.
